　Pi PHOTONICS, INC. (Hamamatsu City, Japan / CEO: Takahiro Ikeda), a manufacturer of optical equipment, is proud to announce the April 2026 launch of the “HOLOLIGHT PRO Series.” This new lineup consists of eight high-durability pattern-forming LED lighting solutions specifically engineered for permanent outdoor installation.

　The HOLOLIGHT PRO Series features a newly designed enclosure that achieves an IP66-equivalent dust and water resistance, along with superior vibration, shock, and heat resistance. Primarily designed for architectural and decorative applications, these products are ideal for enhancing facades and landscapes of residential and commercial buildings, as well as creating immersive spatial lighting for outdoor events and tourist attractions.

1. Superior Dust and Water Resistance for Permanent Outdoor Installation

　Featuring a newly engineered enclosure, the series achieves an IP66‑equivalent rating based on International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. This rating certifies complete dust‑tightness and protection against powerful water jets from any direction, ensuring stable operation in long‑term outdoor environments. Whether illuminating residential facades, commercial buildings, or landscape features, the PRO Series maintains reliable performance regardless of rain, wind, or airborne dust.

2. Exceptional Vibration and Shock Resistance for Versatile Environments

　The series has successfully passed rigorous testing, including vibration tests (4.5G) based on the JIS D 1601 automotive parts standard and shock tests (50G) compliant with JIS C 60068-2-27 for electronic equipment. By maintaining stable performance even in environments subject to intense vibration or impact, the series reduces installation constraints and offers greater freedom in lighting design.

3. High Heat Resistance for Demanding Conditions

　While conventional models were limited to an ambient temperature of 40°C, the PRO Series supports up to 50°C in its standard configuration and up to 65°C with heat-resistant specifications. This improvement of up to 25°C compared to previous models ensures stable operation in high-temperature environments, making it suitable for intense outdoor exposure and demanding industrial or climate-specific applications.

The PRO Series is ideal for spatial staging and wayfinding at exhibitions and commercial events, as well as nighttime landscape enhancement for tourist destinations and landmarks. Its highly directional beam minimizes light spill into the surrounding environment, allowing for precise lighting that accentuates the unique character of any space or object.

・Case Study: Fuji Industrial Nightscape Chimney Illumination

From December 10 to 16, 2025, in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, the HOLOLIGHT KAKU PRO was utilized to illuminate a massive, 100-meter-tall industrial chimney. The project achieved a dynamic visual effect with high visibility even from a distance.

・Upcoming Project: NIGHT WAVE – Light Wave Project in Umiterasu DORI

Scheduled for March 21 and 22, 2026, at Dougasari Coast in Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture, 20 units of the HOLOLIGHT LINE PRO will be deployed. This project aims to transform the shoreline by illuminating incoming waves with a striking blue light.
